How to send a defect externally?

Can I send a defect as a mail to someone external? Defects discovered in test runs in RQM are created in RTC, but sometimes I need to send these to an external vendor. Does RTC support that feature?

You should be clear in what form the defect should be sent "externally". I suppose the external vendors do not have access to your RTC system, so links don't work. I think you can export the defect(s) into a file and send the file, and there are two options.
1. For a single defect, you can use the "Print" function to generate a single-page view of the defect, and save this page as a file.
2. For one or more defects, you can run a query with all the necessary fields included and export the query result into a CSV file.
