Unable to find RFT machines when importing scripts-RQMBeta2

Hi,

Note : using RQM beta2 and RFT 8.0

I could not able find machines when importing RFT scripts
I have enabled RQMAdapter on RFT installed machines.

I could able to find the machine when i tried to import the RFT scripts from 'Quality Manager' project which is a default project of RQM.But for other projects i could not able to find the RFT machines when trying to import. What could be the reason?

I have tried by deleting (RQMRelatedFiles).pref file from C:\Documents and Settings\Rajesh Gottapu\Application Data\IBM\RF, still i could not able to find solution.

If any does know the solution for this please share it with me i would be thankful to you.

Regards,
Rajesh Gottapu.

I'm actually surprised that RFT 8.0 connected to RQM beta2 at all. Due to the j_security_file issue discussed on this post:

http://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19757#19757

However, sounds like your adapter connects, but it only connects to the default Quality Manager project.

Project area support wasn't added to RFT until 8.0.0.2 and several other Rational products (RPT/RST) didn't add project area support until 8.1. If it's supported you should see a 'project area' field in the adapter configuration window. Sounds like you need to upgrade to 8.0.0.2 or even better, RFT 8.1 since it's available. Here's the related tech note:
