Is it possible to change the Creator of the existing workitem?

Hi,

Anyone is aware of it? How to change the "CreatedBy" attribute of the workitem?

Hi Sudaraazhi, It is really suspicious what you want to do. the creator is the person who created the work item and it would be cheating if you wanted to change it. Why you do not want to use owner to have the information which you need?

Hi, Thanks for your immediate reponse. Actually, we have a type of workitem which were created by archived users. We are doing the process of syncing these workitems with CQ[ClearQuest]. When we do syncing today, it has removed the creator of workitem and assigned with some other users. So we are in situations to modify the Creator of those workitems. Anyhow the issue is resloved now. Thank you !

Edit the attribute and uncheck read-only and try the synch.
If it does not work, Open the attribute in the editor presentation and Change the Read-Only to False.
This attribute does not appear in the Team Configuration --> Permissions section; so I presume that IBM has made this attribute editable by everyone.
