Installing RTC Client on Eclipse Ganymede
Hi, I've read that RTC could be installed directly on an Eclipse IDE using Install Manager. I've tried to install RTC on Eclipse 3.4.2 Ganymede (EE version).
When I try to run IM I have a list of bundles to install: La funzione "org.eclipse.emf.codegen.ecore.ui.nls1" risulta mancante Is it correct that I have to manually install all these bundles? It seems that I've to run the same step as Galileo (3.5) as described here http://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/InstallRTC20IntoEclipse35. Is it correct? |

Hi mikyjpeg,
you can install into Eclipse 3.4.2 however RTC might need some bundles. I used the Ganymede PDE and did not have to install any additional Bundle. Maybe your version is missing EMF, PDE, JDT? Thanks for th answers. I've tried with ganymede PDE and I've some bundle to install yet but much less than before. I've also tried with only english language and now I have only 2 bundles to install and 2 to upgrade.
Another question: if I try to install RTC with RAD 7.5.2, will I have to install other bundles or does it contain all required bundles ? |

I had no problems of missing stuff when doing such installation although you should aware that RAD 7.5.3 and RTC Client 2.0 together is not a supported configuration (although it seems to work).
