Questions about Rational Insight OOTB report and Dashboard

I have Rational Insight and CLM.

For example, Public Folders ‎> Dashboards by Technology ‎>Page Dashboards‬ > CMMI Process Areas by Capability Level
From Support tab, click Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) will display "This process area is not covered yet."

1. What does "This process area is not covered yet" means?

2. In the "Program Project Selector" area, there are "Program" and "Project" to choose from.
However, CLM does not have these 2 attributes.

Can someone share some insight of this?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Cathy,

the Insight data warehouse is structured to be generic and product independent so that it can be shared by multiple products.
This means not all the available entities are used by all products.

For example Program is supposed to be an high level entity that groups multiple projects.
For CLM it doesn't have any corresponding element and so it's not used.

The OOTB reports of Insight are mainly designed for the data in the sample data warehouse and might not work with a specific product.

Thank you Francesco!

Hi Francesco,

By Sample data warehouse, do you mean the Cognos one "Great Outdoors Company" "SAMPLEDW"?

Thanks,

Hello Cathy,

I mean the sample data warehouse that you can create during the Insight setup in the step: Configure Sample Data Warehouse.

Hi Cathy,

The dashboard Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) is linking to the following report.
Public Folders ‎> Sample Report Definitions ‎> Insight ‎> Dashboard Reports ‎> Project Level Reports ‎> Process area not covered
If you open this report by Report Studio, you will see "This process area is not covered yet" without any query definition. So it is hard-coded. I guess this report is still under construction, but would be available in the future.

Thank you Kenji. That explained the report behavior.
