How does IBM test its custom developed plugins and configurations for RTC ?

I wanted to know how does IBM test out its custom plugins. In my team our developers have developed custom plugins in Rational Team Concert (RTC) using IBM provided APIs. I was planning to automate these plugins but just wanted to check if there is any recommended way in which IBM tests this out. Also how do they test the configurations  in RTC Project area ?
Will appreciate any response received.

Hi Akankhya,

1) Build the update site

2) setup the server for a reset - cmd/requestReset >

3) Provision the rebuilt update site to the ccm installation > (Deploy the plugin files)

4)  restart the server.

5) https://localhost:9443/jazz/admin?internal=true and verify in the provision tab the new plugin is showing up without any errors in bundles.

6) On Eclipse Client > Close all the open windows > log out of the repository > File Menu > Restart > Connect to the Repository > Visit the Operation Behavior of the PA > the new plugin should show up now.

Regards,
Arun.

 Hi Akankhya,

Have you tried this workshop (https://jazz.net/library/article/1000)? I am not sure if this is exactly what IBM does, but I would assume this workshop material is written based on IBM's experience. I hope this workshop helps you. Thanks.
