You cannot really delete a project area. You can archive it. This will hide
the project area by default and keep it from being used. Be careful, because
you cannot un-archive a project area. To archive, open the Team Organization
view, right-click the project area, Archive... You will need to have the
permissions configured in the project area to archive the project, and
possibly to archive teams.

In order to create a project area (and successfully initialize it) you must
be in the JazzAdmins group and have a Developer Client Access License. To
initialize the existing uninitialized project, open the Team Organization
view, right-click the project area, Initialize...

Hi Ryan,

Is this still true in 4.0.3 version of RTC? I can not delete a project area?

In the mean time it should be possible to un-archive a project area as well.
