Is there a way to set and enforce a test case naming convention in RQM?

Hi, all,

We're working on an RQM project with people who are used to automatic DOORS object identifiers. Question is whether a similar option exists in Rational Quality Manager for test cases naming.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Oskar

Oskar,

No that's not possible to enforce test artiface naming convention the way DOORS allows. The only constrain you can enforce is for uniqueness from Manage Project Area->Test Artifacts->Name Uniqueness.

Hi Mehul,

Thanks. I guess that one way to do it would imply using the API.

Oskar
