New User (15210) | asked Apr 03 '20, 2:48 p.m.

Hello all,

Wanted to check if we can Add/Update values in the dropdown for Type field in RQM test script. When I create a new test script I see values in the dropdown ( I guess these are Out of the Box values), can I add new values (example : Automated) and where can I add them. Also once the test script is created can I update them. Please check and let me know appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The script types you see  in the drop down for "Type" field are all tied to Out of Box adapters supported by the product except in case of "Manual" script.  You can create a custom adapter and add the corresponding type in "Manage Project Area". See https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.6.1/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_custom_adapter_types.html for more information.

You cannot update the Type once you create a script.

Hope that helps!
