How does the UI receive the notification from RTC server?

 Once my teammate deliver the code, I can receive the the message in Eclipse. How does the UI receive these messages from RTC server?

It uses a feed as far as I know. It polls the feed with a specific frequency.

You can manage your feeds in the Eclipse Client's Team Artifacts view. You can subscribe to feeds and get their feed url as well.
