When Does Changeset Automatically get Work Item Associated?
I'm confused was to when a changeset automatically gets a work item associated with it.
I have two users with different Eclipse workspaces. Both have a "current" work item ("Start working..."), as shown by the work item being listed in the bottom-left part of the screen. However, with one when I change code, the work item does not automatically get associated - it still says "<Enter>." With the other user, the "<Enter> is replaced by the currently-active work item. Any help appreciated - thanks. Gary |

The Eclipse UI will frequently fail to associate a new change-set with
the declared current work item. There is a work item to get that fixed .... there is a school of thought that argues it sometimes shouldn't (as you can guess, I disagree with that school of thought :-). For folks that are encountering this situation, please feel free to submit a work item with the details of when you encountered this, or comment on the existing work item (I'll post the work item ID once the jazz.net maintenance is completed).
