Can I have iterations under Main Development that are overlapping in dates?

Main Development (project timeline)
I1 4/24/12 - 5/24/12
I2 5/15/12 - 6/24/12
I3 6/01/12 - 8/25/12

Yes, currently, there is no checking done to prevent iterations from overlapping in dates. I personally would find that situation confusing at best, so I would never do it myself.
