RRDI Email settings

Good day,

I have been trying to run schedules in RRDI however they are always in a waiting state. I have not configured any email settings yet but cannot find where to do this? I have looked everywhere on the Administration page within RRDI.

From what I have read there should be a notification tab but this is not available.

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Michael,
This is enabled in Cognos Configuration, not via the RRDI web interface.   I am on Linux, so I start Cognos Configuration via  /opt/IBM/RRDI/cognos/bin64/cogconfig.sh.

There's a 'Notification' section under 'Data Access'  where you can set the SMTP mail server and default sender for any email sent by your RRDI server.

Hello Micheal,

you need to specify an SMTP server in IBM Cognos Configuration.
