DOORS 9.6 to DOORs NG migration

Kunal N (872862) | asked May 28 '15, 7:21 a.m.
Hi All,

I migrated data from DOORs 9.6 to DOORS NG 5.02, after migration I found the data which was in tables format in DOORS getting duplicated in DOORS NG.

Example : suppose we have a requirement in DOORs which is stored in Table format containing Rows and columns. when this table gets migrated to DOORS NG one new artifact is cretaed for whole of the table also additional artifacts are created for each Row of the table, this is creating duplication of data.

Is there any work around so that there will be no duplication of data during migration from DOORS 9.6 to DOORS NG 5.02?

Thank you,
Kunal Nigade.

I'm not aware of any workaround but an enhanchment request is open for better handling of DOORS 9 tables: https://jazz.net/jazz03/web/projects/Requirements%20Management#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=79172
