"dashboard not found" after settingup LDAP on RQM2

Andreas Pross (2121) | asked Jun 18 '09, 7:20 a.m.
hey there,

i tried to setup LDAP on RQM 2.0 beta 2 (2.0.0.20090603_0124) on two separat Win 2k3 machines getting a dashboard not found error.
I did a normal installation using IM, only needed to change the http and https ports in the server.xml because the default ones where already taken.
System worked just fine using ADMIN/ADMIN.

then:
- i opened https://localhost:9445/jazz/setup
- skipped the db and email setup
- configured the LDAP for bluepages (can send details later if needed, test went ok, have used same setting in RQM 1.0.1 (on WAS) without problems)
- i tested this config, unchecked the disable ADMIN box and saved.
- i imported my bluepages user, the ui did show all groups checked.
- i added my user as member and admin of the "Quality Manager" project
- i stopped the tomcat.
- commented out the userdatabase Resource and Realm tag in the server.xml
- i inserted the LDAP realm tag for bluepages (from LDAP4Dummies page)
- i started the tomcat

after logon to RQM, the Dashboard Tabb contains a red "Error!" plus "The requested dashboard could not be found."

the jazz.log shows some AjaxModuleDOMLoader and JAXB related errors and some more warning (javascript depency, etc) but nothing that jumped into my eyes as likely cause.

thanks for any input.

ps: your "subject" field on the "edit post" page is 10chars longer then what is visible on the forum index resulting in subjects getting chopped off :)
ps2: there are other subjects that are longer then mine... maybe some UTF8/16 byte length problem with the db?
