Is there a maximum size for an RTC work item object/record?  Maximum number of custom attributes that can be added?

There is no set limit for number of custom attributes, and some items are designed with many attributes (>100).  More attributes will increase the load time, and can cause extra events during interaction that may impact performance. This will depend on the configuration.  We have not seen performance issues reported due to too many attributes.

There are limits on the size of the description (32K, including markup). Attachment maximum size is configurable in the system properties.
