Hi,

In the “owned by” field of the task form, if multiple owners can be assigned simultaneously to the same task, then what happened? /how it works?

It is not possible to assign multiple owners to work items. The owned by field allows only one user. It is also not a good idea to have multiple owners assigned to a task, because experience shows that in that case no one feals to be the owner. Also the whole planning and reporting assumes that a task is owned and executed by one owner.

You can
  • Split the tasks in multiple child task, one for each owner
  • You can add a custom attribute like "Additional Owners" and make it a user list attribute; note that there is no automation for such a field and it would be basically only information that can be used in queries and dashboards
