Identify current session user through javsscript calculated values

I wanted to identify session user & limit the edit rights to the session user. Similar to ClearQuest.
Though this is not the concept in RTC, we need this feature.
Can this be implemented using java plug-ins ?
RTC Query using "Owned By" attribute has a checkbox to choose the current session user.

You can identify the current user and access all that information in advisors. See https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2013/02/28/setting-up-rational-team-concert-for-api-development/ for setting up, do the Extensions workshop and browse the site for example advisors.

You can not do this with JavaScript Attribute customization.
