Resolution Automation in RTC workflow

In an RTC workflow is it possible to automate a resolution action?   For example if a resolution selected is "more information required" can an email be triggered to the person who entered the request?

As far as I can tell, you would have to create a so called work item save participant or a service for that. Also, there is currently no special notification like that. See or for more information. The service is the cleaner solution, since it does not run in the UI thread.
