How to reliably re-run saved query with "specify at run time" attribute value and use NEW value for that attribute ?

In 4.0.7 and 5.0.2 web UI, executing a query having a run-time specified attribute doesn't seem to allow one to execute the query for a value, then re-run it to specify a new value.  The previous results are returned.  I have tried:

  • Refreshing using the chasing arrows icon
  • Running a different query
  • clicking on a column header to re-sort the results ( sometimes works )
Thanks.

Opening the query to edit, then repeatedly hitting "Run" button seems to work.   Sort of surprised this isn't more widely seen. [ maybe not many folks create queries with run-time parameter values ]
