How to copy configuration data from one project to another?

I created one workitem in one project which is associated with one workflow,presentation and custom attribues.

I would like to copy same to another project area.

Please guide me.

There are two possible ways.
1. Create a master child relationship   That is create a new project area which in herits from another project area
2. Create a process template based on the existing project area, and then create a new project area using that template

Or open the process configuration source in the source project area, and copy the xml elements related to the type you have created to your targets process configuration source.

We do this all the time to copy single types, but only do this if you understand the xml.
