Dependent Enumerations have no effect in a taskboard view?

I have created a dependent enumeration in which I limit the selectable values based on the Status of the Workitem. In the standard WI editors this is all working well, but when I add the Attribute to "plan attributes" and I create a taskboard (kanbanboard) config in which the cards on the board show this attribute, the dropdown is always showing all values independent of the Status of the Workitem.
Is this a known behaviour or did I do something wrong?
I use RTC 5.0.1 with Firefox 31. My Project Area configuration is based on the OpenUP template delivered with the product. (I tried it as well with RTC 5.0.2 , all the same behaviour).
