Generating Report from 2 project areas in RTC

Hi RTC Team, I have access to 2 project areas for 2 different projects(A and B).  I know, I can export such report from only one project/project area.
But I want to generate a single report from these 2 different project areas in one GO(The report will contains consolidated all the workitem details of different project members )

Hello Anand,

Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence (RRDI) or, if you are in version 5.0.1 or later, Jazz Reporting Services (JRS) allows you to generate reports with data from multiple projects.

I think to some extent this can also be obtained by writing a custom BIRT report, but I'm not very familiar with that solution.

Thx a lot sir. What I understood is :
1). In Web RTC we can not write simple query to get the data from 2 project area's and can get the data from team area's.
2). I need to use tool like RRDI or JRS. But this need to be integrated with web or eclipse RTC? If yes just guide me.
3). Custom BIRT report will help me.
Please clear my understanding.

Hi Anand,

Simple query can't suffice your requirement. BIRT would be possible solution for your query.
Create two different different datasource with required Project Areas.
Based on the your requirement create datasets from datasources.

Both tools are included in the CLM licenses and don't require additional purchases.

Thanks a lot Sir. Could you please guide me ,How I can use BIRT eclipse plugin to connect to 2 project Area and generate a consolidated a single report in BIRT?
