Is it possible to see all work items, from a different project areas, assigned to one person in one place?

Context: one developer working on two projects and have tasks in both of the project areas.

His manager wants to see all tasks assigned to him when creating a sprint plan in one of the projects

Is it possible to see all work items assigned to this person, in one of the projects?

Thanks

Meital

If the project areas are on a single repository, or if the repositories have a "friend" relationship, you can make a single dashboard that includes work item viewlets showing his assigned tasks in each of his project areas.

not from a Query.. you would have to use a report from RRDI or Insight I suspect. queries and reports in a project are project centric
