 Hi all,

I need DOORS Templates (Template library - example DoD-STD-2167A, ISO 6592, IEEE Std 12207, ISO 2626, etc)  in Rational DOORS Next Generation (RDNG). Should be able to use these templates in RDNG similar to that in DOORS.
Is it possible to export these templates form DOORS and import those to RDNG or Is there any other way to do so?

Can anyone help me on this and also provide links if possible?

Thank you,
Deepali Nigade

These templates are fairly simple. They are actually .dxl files, typically stored in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.5\lib\dxl\standard\template
and subdirectories under that. I believe that none of them provide more than headings. So you have two choices. Either manually parse the DXL (it is fairly straightforward) or (probably easier) create a module for each template that you wish to use and export it to Word, then import into DNG.
