RRDG report - how to get current user name?

 Hello,

I'm creating in RPE template for RRDG and I would like to print name of user which generates report. In build in reports there is variable named author or authorName but I can figure out from where it get its value. Does anyone resolved this problem?

You can only get information about the author from the artifacts or you can ask for the user input (variable) when the reporting is generated.

Right now (6.0.6, 6.0.6.1, 7.0) there is no property from where RPE can take information about what user generated the report.


Information will be available on following RPE variables: 

  • _coverComponentTitle
  • _coverComponentDesc
  • _coverComponentURI
  • _coverProjectTitle
  • _coverProjectDesc  Note  This variable provides Project summary information
  • _coverProjectURI
  • _coverConfigurationTitle
  • _coverConfigurationDesc
  • _coverConfigurationURI
  • _coverConfigurationType
