Automatic sign out time property

 Hi,

I would like to change the time period which is responsible for the user sign out option.
Now if I leave CLM non-active for a couple of minutes I will be automatically signed out from the system, I would like to change that property.
Also I would like to change the time period a floating license user may stay logged in the system.
I know that there is a way to do so, I just can not find it.

Thanks in advance.

Amir,

there is not a feature that automatically signs out a user from the Jazz products, that I know about.

The effect you explain is typically caused by the network setup. Networks that automatically drop idle connections can have this effect. If the application server is WAS, it uses an authentication mechanism called LTPA token, to allow single log on. The timeout for these tokens is by default set to 2 hours and it should be increased (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/ConfiguringAndTuningWAS ).

It violates the license agreement to change floating license timeouts. In any case, the floating license, if timed out, will be automatically re-requested without the user noticing, as soon as an action is performed that requires one.
