Unable to delete links using the "Remove Requirement Links from step"

I have a step within a Test Script that contains a lot of requirement links that I would like to remove.

When I use the "Remove Requirement Links from step" action then first seem to disappear (after hitting save).

But when the script is refreshed all the links reappear.

Does anyone know why these links keep reappearing?

Thanks!

Hi, Jeffery

It is not clear which version of RQM you are using and whether requirement is from RRC or not.
There is  a known defect: https://jazz.net/jazz02/web/projects/Rational%20Quality%20Manager#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=103531
(https://jazz.net/jazz02/web/projects/Rational%20Quality%20Manager#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=104206)
which resolved the same issue. But in the formal release v4.0.6, it should be already fixed.
Please confirm whether you are using the formal release or the beta(RC1, RC2 etc) one.

(some similar behaviors reported and fixed in v4.0.6 as well:

)

Thanks

Hi Don,

Thank you very much for your reply and for the links! Using ver 5.01. The requirements is from rm.

Thanks,
Jeff

Don,

From your links the following worked (turning off this option) to get the requirement links deleted:

I narrowed down the scenario, this behavior only happens when the project property's test script preference has the following option turned on

Sync Requirement links to Test Case When Test Script is saved every time

 Thanks again for your help!!!
