"Blank" Email to Owner of Task when Created Using Template

Hello,

Our teams use Work Item templates for quite a few of their standard Task work items. There is an owner set on the Task that was used to create the work item template. When a task is created using the template, the Owner of the task receives an essentially "blank" email. Is there any way to configure the mail settings to avoid this initial email? The owner would still like to receive future updates, such as when the description changes, but that initial email is pretty much useless. If there is no way to do this in RTC, I will just set up a rule in Outlook to sort and delete the initial email.

Hi Jamie,
What do you mean by blank email? Didn't it have any content at all? Or any meaningful conentent?
