How to determine/extract the test script steps attempted

Richard Tweed (811221) | asked Oct 30 '14, 10:07 a.m.

I have a client seeking to report upon the Test Script Steps attempted, passed, and the total by test script and their owner.  They're currently using 4.0.3, however may move to 5.0 soon.

I've seen some other forum posts discussing this (via RPE mainly which led to a RFE). Is there a method available in the tools?

The test script steps would not contain execution information (see https://jazz.net/products/rational-quality-manager/api-doc-5.0.1/schemas/testscript_xsd/elements/step.html).  Instead, look at the execution element result (see https://jazz.net/products/rational-quality-manager/api-doc-5.0.1/schemas/qm_xsd/elements/executionelementresult.html).
