Re: CLM 5.0 Local environment
Hi All,
I am looking at setting up a local dev environment in my personal laptop for trying out some etension scenarios. Is it mandatory to have a windows Server 2008/2012? My only concern is that it would be a heavy config for a laptop and i am not sure if the same config can act as a client?
Any other easier options for a local admin-level dev config?
Thanks.

Hello,
you may run your local server on Win7.
The OS is not officially supported but this should be OK
for you to develop your extension.

See https://jazz.net/library/article/1000 which uses Windows 7 and explains the setup process with the detail Eric mentions above.

Hi Ralph,
Is it possible to customize Doors5 , RQM (or) Lifecycle templates directly? I am looking at adding a custom link type between Doors and RTC 5. I couldn't find the SDK for Doors5 and RQM. Please advise how to proceed.
T hanks.
