Editing Test Scripts
I've tried to locate help documentation for special icons that appear when editing test scripts.
It looks like if you select a step and drag, you will see a Green circle with a left white arrow. Numbers will also appear. If you do the same thing with the Ctrl key, it's a green circle with a "+" sign. This happens when are working on a step and select other steps.
Are these "short-cuts" to move steps. I'm having difficulty making it work consistently. Is this documented in the on-line help?

Hi Bob,
The official way to move a step is to select the step and drag it to the new location. In the next version of RQM, you will see enhancements to the Manual Test editor that will smooth this process and make it consistent.
Keyboard short-cuts are documented in the topic http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rqmhelp/v1r0m0/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_cutcopypaste.html
I will add any new ones for the 2.0 release to this topic.
Hope this helps,
Jennifer

Hi Bob,
The green circle/white arrow icon indicates that you are adding a step (or steps) to that particular line; the number is supposed to indicate how many steps you are inserting. For instance, if you were moving Steps 2 and 3, you should get the icon with a "2" next to it. In RQM 2.0, the icon will also indicate which steps are being moved.
Note: To select a sequential group of steps, use Shift+Click; to select random steps, use Ctrl+Click.
