How to import thru a CSV file a field "Non-Attribute-based" defined as kind "Approvals"?

Pascal Jean (6013041) | asked Sep 30 '14, 10:58 a.m.

Hello,
We have a Work Item including an Approvals/Review field.
We would like to import a CSV file including such field. I can’t find a way to do it.
I know that Approvals field is
a Non-Attribute-based Presentation .
No attribute is associated to it.

Field Definition 02

Is it the reason why we can’t import it (or export it) thru a CSV file?

Thank you in advance for any advises.
Pascal Jean

If you export from the Eclipse client, you can configure queries to also show relationships and other data, approvals included. You can try to export the data that way and see if you can import that data that way too. Please note, I am not sure if this would actually work.

Hello Ralph,
Thank you for the answer.
I'll check how it is possible to see relationships and data. I need to check more on detail the Eclipse client.

you can export that there IS an approval, and its name and state (pending...)
but you cannot get THE date or the assigned approvers.
(tested on 5.0)
