Hi Colin,
You have Excel 2003 64 bit. RQMExcelImporter supports 64 bit version for Office 2010 or above.
Try installing Office 2003 32 bit version and install RQMExcelImporterSetup.exe
Thanks

Thanks for the links, and I followed them, but, uninstalled all items and attempted to reinstall 5.01, still not working :-( Colin Can you be a bit more specific in regards to the error you are encountering You've downloaded version 5.0.1 of the Word/Excel import tool (Note: 5.0.1 is a non GA version) and trying to install into excel correct? What version of Excel are you using? Is it 32 or 64 bit? Which installer are you running to install ?
Are you getting any errors or does the install finish but no menu item appears?

Hi Ara,
One possible cause of this behavior is a setting in Excel that disallows plug-ins. To check if this setting is enabled perform the following steps
Open the instance of Microsoft Excel that is having the issue.
Go to the menu option Help > About Microsoft Excel.
Click the Disabled Items... button.
Check for any entries in the Disable Items window that would prohibit the install of an add-in or plug-in. See the screenshot for an example. If one exists, re-enable it
Once this is complete, install the Rational Quality Manager Excel importer again. The menu should now appear
