Record a manual script in RQM, with Firefox

I am running RQM 4.0.7 in Firefox 24.7. I have tried to record a manual script for an TML website also running in Firefox 24.7. However, the test script remains blank. My recording tool is Rational Functional Tester 8.5.1.3.

Any ideas on why the test script remains blank, and what can I do to make RQM generate the manual test script.

Hi Wayne,

It looks like, your Firefox browser is not automatically getting enabled for testing by RFT. Can you please try enabling the browser manually ? Please refer to following RFT help docs -


Also while recording, recorder shows the captured steps in the "Display Monitor" (click on the rightmost button in the recorder to open it). So you can verify, if recorder is capturing the steps or not. The same steps gets sent to RQM.

Please let me know, if you are facing any issue.
