Why can't I create timeline for jazzHub project that I created?
Project area cannot be saved.

Problem
CRJAZ6053E The 'Save Project Area' operation cannot be completed. Permission is required to complete the operation.
Reason
In order to carry out this operation, you would need permission to perform the following additional actions:
Modify the structure of iterations
Modify the process specification
I am not sure if I missed anything while creating project because as the owner of the project, I was expecting to be able to have full privilege.

This is correct. Project owners do not have administrative rights at JazzHub, so editing the project in Eclipse is disabled. You can edit the timeline in the Current Work section. If you're using the new beta Track and Plan, you can also edit the timeline there.
I would not need the administrative rights, if I had the the permissions, but I don't even have those.
In order to keep JazzHub as simple and easy as possible to use, a decision was made to not give anyone administrative roles or advanced permissions.
Lauren, I wasn't using eclipse but web UI. I also tried beta Track and Plan but that also only allows you to create Sprints but doesn't allow to organize them in a hierarchical manner as below.
Main Development
- Backlog
- Release 1.0
- sprint 1(R1)
- sprint 2(R1)
Is this original feature of timeline disabled by design now? Also, as the project owner, what permissions do I have or don't have. I can't seem to change anything on Project Area.
Hi Deepika,
You found the buried process editor on the web. :-) It is also disabled.
Timelines currently do not allow a hierarchy.
Any changes you can make are going to be available from the project overview or project settings page. For example, you can change the project name, description, members, and timeline.
Lauren, thanks for the clarification/confirmation.
