Work item status when created from template

Hi,

Isn't a 'draft' status for work item created from template? it seems like the WI that was created from a template has no 'Draft' initial status and is saved imidiatly when created.

Is there any configuration which can be done in order to have the draft status?

Hello Shirit,

by draft status, I assume you mean "unsaved" - correct?

If this is the case, it is currently not possible OOTB.

Not tested - however - having some default / calculated value provider modifying some attribute value post-creation could lead to unsaved status.
