Copy from external place to RTC web Workitem attribute does not change

 Hi,

In 4.0.5 i have found that if i copy something from an external place (i.e a file path from the Win browser or another system) then paste inside RTC WI Attribute of type string the "Save"  option is grayed as if it is not aware to the change done in that field.
Then if i update some  data in another field and click on save, the updates i have done to the field (which were pasted) are not saved.

If the data comes from a Copied place within CLM, it has no "Save" problem

Anyone encountered such an issue?

after the paste, if you add one character (a space), does it make any difference?

We're aware of one mention of this that would relate to repositories we support.  No solution, [ but you just asked about 'encountered' ;-) ]

Sounds like the Dojo widget does not register the "onpaste" event, so it is not aware of your pasting something into the attribute/field. Sam's suggestion should trigger a "keyup" event which should be registered.
