When delete / re-add association between RQM PA and RTC PA - will the existing links still exist ?
Actual problem is that the association didn't recognize renaming of a PA in RTC. And we have another existing PA with the same (old) name.
Now the second PA was not shown in RQM selection to create a defect. Is it possible to delete the existing old association and re-add it - so the system will use the correct naming of the old PA. |
Accepted answer
When a defect (or requirement) is associated to a test artifact (e.g. execution result), only the defect URL and summary are stored in RQM. If name of the RTC project area containing the defect is changed, it does not change the URL of the defect, since the project area name is not used in the defect URL. Removing a RTC association will not remove existing defect URLs from RQM.
