our project creates and uses baselines, and we need guidance about how to maintain different versions of the same artefacts post a particular baseline.
We are using RRC at version 4.0.2 |

A project baseline captures an entire requirement project at a specific moment in time. If you double click an artifact in a baseline, you can view the artifact history. When you open an artifact that has an embedded artifact from the same project, you will see the baseline versions of both artifacts.http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m2/topic/com.ibm.rational.rrm.help.doc/topics/c_snapshots.html In my understanding, the project baseline and artifact history are in different dimensions, and do not affect each other. There is nothing really to be maintained. |
