Chrome is now an officially supported browser in RTC 4.0.1. There are some minor issues, but it overall works fine.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for sharing the information. Just wanted to understand if it is true for RQM v4.0.1 also? Are there any list of known problems for RQM with Chrome and also for RTC which you can share?

It will be great if you can share your thoughts on the same.

Regards,

Ritika

The link from @sktayibm shows that RQM is included in the set of products that supports Chrome in 4.0.1.

You can look at the bug databases to find out about known problems. The largest one that I am aware of for Chrome is that IBM Cognos does not support it (RRDI). But there are plenty of open bugs against various browsers in the bug databases.

Here is a link to a query about Chrome issues in RTC's bug database: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.search&q=chrome

I've just checked chrome Version 25.0.1364.172 with the jazz.net dashboard Version: 4.0.3 M3 and it did work. I could see my bookmarks.

Looking in the RTC project I saw several open work items related to Chrome. While I did not see a work item that said "Support Google Chrome" I was left with the impression that that support is part of RTC 2.0. Is that correct?

The supported browsers for Foundation 1.0 (and RTC 2.0) are listed here:
https://jazz.net/development/DevelopmentItem.jsp?href=content/project/
plans/jf-plan-1.0.html#WebClientOperatingEnvironments

They are IE7 and Firefox 3.

Are Bookmarks supported with Chrome?

We recently updated from RTC 3.0.1.2 to RTC 4.0.1 and a user's Bookmarks aren't working in Chrome and it did with RTC 3.0.1.2.

Thoughts?

They are working just fine for us. That looks like an issue with your widget which is likely server or network related.

Jorge Afonso commented Jul 11 '13, 10:46 a.m.

Thank you! it was a network/server error.
