Is there a way to automatically lock a file in RFT using the RTC plugin?
Good day everyone,
As you know, we can manually lock files in the RTC plugin in RFT. I right click on the file and choose Team->Lock. I was wondering if there was a way we have the file become automatically locked whenever we open the file in RFT which uses eclipse? Thank you in advance for your help. |

Michael,
there is no automation for locking files in RTC as of today. If RFT did not implement its own mechanism to do that, you can't. However, this mechanism,called pessimistic locking, is high on the list of enhancements. See Plan Item 171284. Michael Schiralli selected this answer as the correct answer
