Create Requirement Artifact from Template by using REST API's

Canberk Akduygu (99237371) | asked May 16 '14, 4:57 a.m.
 Hello,

I have an integration between HP PPM and IBM RRC. I'd like to create an analysis document for each RRC project during project area initialization. I have a template but I havent figured it out how to use it when I call REST Api's to create a requirement.

Has anyone tried this?

Hi,  are you trying to create requirements based on a template ?  If so, that is currently not supported, but what you can do is manually create a requirement with the template, then do an OSLC GET to it and use that for creation ( OSLC POST ) of new artifacts.  More details on : Enable optional use of a template when creating an artifact via OSLC (77688)

We have an integration with HP PPM and there'are many projects created in a month. So manuel creation is not a possiblity. But for some cases, we can use this method.

Thank you very much
