Issues with Team Area role permissions

Just to be clear, everyone in the repository always has whatever
privileges you grant to the "default" role. And the privileges granted to
the "contributor" role only apply to user who are assigned this role in
the affected team area.

When you talk about people being "members" of a team, do you mean that
they're assigned the contributor role? If so, they should retain
permissions to modify dashboards in the setup you've described. If not,
you'll need to assign this role to anyone who should be able to modify
dashboards in your setup.
