Ranking RRC Artifacts?

Shirley Jhirad (514151) | asked Apr 01 '14, 5:32 a.m.
 Hi,

I Wish to Rank my requirements in RRC, in a similar way to the ranking functionality in RTC WI.
The only way i found is to create an Integer attribute and manually update values when ranking needs to be changed.

Does anyone has an idea or a way to do a better ranking in RRC?

Thanks,

Shirley

An alternative might be, instead of using a ranking attribute use a business priority attribute, where the values are things Like Must, Should, Could, Won't. Once you have the business priority for requirements, you can add them to a collection and then associate that collection with an RTC plan, create corresponding work items and rank those Work items based upon the requirement business priority.

If you put the RRC artifacts into a module, you can rank them by dragging them.
As I recall, you can drag artifacts from one window into another to put them in the module.
You can rank within each level of a multi-level hierarchy
You can turn on automatic numbering by displaying the artifacts as headings
