RTC Query for Field Missing a Date

Jamie Schena (531521) | asked Mar 17 '14, 9:11 a.m.
 Hello,

Is there a way to set up a query that would show all work items that do not have a particular date field filled in? I have a field called "Due Date" and would like to see all of the items that do not have a "Due Date."

Thank you!
Jamie

some date fields allow search for Unassigned (due date) and some don't  (Created Date)

It is not possible to query for Unassigned in attributes of type
timestamp in the Web UI.
This is a known defect https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Support%20%28Private%29#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=157599, fixed in 5.0.

It is, however, possible to query for unassigned date in Eclipse - there is a dedicated checkbox.

Thank you very much!

Just an additional remark:
in pre 5.0 versions, you can create a query that checks for unassigned date in Eclipse, save it, and later use it in Web. But if you ever edit the query in Web, the Unassigned date condition will be lost.
