Migrate selected Artifacts, Links, comments from one RRC & RQM project to another

Chidambaram L (23424390) | asked Mar 14 '14, 5:24 a.m.

RRC & RQM 4.0.5 does not provide read access control. Artifacts are visible to all the members of the project. Hence allowing vendors in this project area is not possible.

Is there is any way to migrate all the requirements mapped to one release collection to another RRC project, including links, comments, reviews, history.

Similarly is it possible for a test plan in RQM ?

There are two ways to export requirements in RRC(which means import to another project is possible).

But I don't think it will cover all your expected items such as history, external links(RRC to RQM/RTC) etc.

RQMCopyUtility(https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMCopyUtility) should be able to copy Test Plan only to another project.

RQM's test artifacts copy feature should also work: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m5/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc%2Ftopics%2Fc_copy_overview.html
