RTC: Filed Against - Guess Category

Adjacent to the 'Filed Against' field is an icon (lightbulb + list) with a label 'Guess Category'.  What information is that using that would populate the Filed Against field with an appropriate category (i.e. does it use the text from the Summary or Description, the 'Owned By' value etc...)?

Hi Wang,

I read the explanation, but I did't understand how it works..I created a new workitem and put a text in summary and description that would suggest a category, I clicked on Guess Category button, but nothing happened.

Can you describe an example of use of the guess category button?

Thanks a lot.

As I understand it, it doesn't look for a similarity between the text and the category name ... it does a search for the work item whose summary/description is a best match for the text, and then suggests the category of the work item.   Try typing in words that match the summary/description of some existing work item.   Note that the "search" can sometimes come up with unintuitive results, so what looks like the best match to a human might not be the one it picks.
