Hello Miguel,
customized BIRT reports are supported only for RTC and not for RQM. The recommended toll for custom reports in RQM is Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence (RRDI) or Rational Insight. For more information on RRDI and other reporting solutions for CLM see: Introduction to Rational Reporting http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m5/topic/com.ibm.rational.reporting.overview.doc/topics/c_ovr_overview.html Best Regards, Francesco Chiossi Comments

Hello Miguel,
the usage Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence (RRDI) is included in your CLM license, so no additional purchase is required for this Tool. Rational Insight, is a more complete product, with more customization capabilities that RRDI, and it requires separate licenses to be purchased. Best Regards, Francesco Chiossi |

Sorry, one question more.
I don't know this tool, RRDI. This tool is to design and develop reports, this tools is installing in windows PC, is true? not in the server.
And more, in server is:
Quality Management - Core Libraries 3.0.1.3
Jazz Foundation - Core Libraries 3.0.1.3
Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1
I don't know if they have CLM, or not is necesary? with this core libraries 3.0.1.3 is enough.
The report is for customer with:
Quality Management - Core Libraries 3.0.1.3
Jazz Foundation - Core Libraries 3.0.1.3
Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1
And only need a new simple report...
I'm a poor rookie...
Thanks very much

Hello Miguel,
RRDI is a server application, that is accessed by its WebUI to create and run reports. An overview of the architecture is described here: Rational Reporting for Development Intelligence architecture http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m5/topic/com.ibm.rational.reporting.overview.doc/topics/c_ovr_arch_rrdi.html or the same info in Spanish: Visión general de la arquitectura de informes http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m5/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.rational.reporting.overview.doc/topics/c_ovr_architecture.html&scope=null&lang=es For CLM I refer to the suit including JTS, RTC, RQM and RRC, but also the customer scenario with only JTS and RQM is OK for RRDI.
