Creating a custom defect field from the RQM web UI and making it mandatory

Rajesh Avanthi (10815138173) | asked Jan 17 '14, 2:33 a.m.
Hi

I would like to know how could we make a customized defect field mandatory from the RQM web application of CLM Suite because we are using only web version but NOT eclipse version

I.e ;   I have created customized defect fields in RQM by adding enumerations and presentation style , Now I would like to make that field mandatory and force the user to fill the data for those fields and then save it ...

Appreciate some quick inputs on this...

Thanks in advance

Rajesh, Is this scenario on RQM v2.x?

RQM v3.x and higher store defects in RTC (/ccm) and what you see in RQM UI while creating defect is a bridge to the defect created and stored in /ccm. (or can be CQ as well).

Using Eclipse client is the only known way to modify properties at the field level (making fields mandatory), this cannot be done in web client.

Best Regards, Sunil
